Follow the colors of the wind to welcome Pocahontas in Disney Dreamlight Valley

While it was revealed a while ago that Pocahontas will join the valley, there were no details explaining how it will happen. On April 1st, Disney Dreamlight Valley revealed some exclusive content to help you find her.

It seems that you have to work together with a fellow ocean adventurer, most likely Moana, and follow the path of some swirling leaves. These leaves will lead to a new mysterious island where you need to piece memories together to unlock Pocahontas.

DDV has also teased some details about Pocahontas’ friendship quests, like how the Whimsical Moon Tide Glow Phenomenon will appear in Dazzle Beach and how, later on, we help the princess prepare for a Celestial Celebration.

Pocahontas isn’t the only new character in the DDV Whispers of the Winds update

Once the festivities are over, Disney Dreamlight Valley confirmed that you can unlock Meeko as a companion. The adorable raccoon will join the valley after players use something called a Starlight’s Glow to craft a special bait. While most are extremely excited to get Meeko, others want the rest of the animals in Pocahontas, like Percy.

Cute critters aside, the Whispers of the Wind update also hinted at another character that will join the Dreamlight Valley. After using the Mementos to get Pluto, a mysterious door with a cracked icon will appear inside the Dreamlight Castle.

Some are saying it’s Ralph from Wreck-It Ralph since Vanellope didn’t come from a door but spawned inside the castle. Others speculate that it’s Dr. Facilier from Princess and the Frog as the exact words were, "Mystifying figure lurking in the valley shadows." That’s because his nickname is the Shadow Man, which fits the description.

It’s definitely interesting if it’s Dr. Facilier, since he’s a villain and usually only the "good guys" come from the Dreamlight Castle. Either way, it’s safe to say the Whispers of the Wind DDV update is full of exciting new content for you to discover.
