Arknights: Endfield is an anime Satisfactory: gameplay, story, and freebies
Anime aesthetic and action RPG mixed with factory building.
Arknights: Endfield just aired its pre-release livestream to tease the final build of the game, shedding light on what the game is all about.
The original Arknights is a tower-defense game, but Endfield will be more like a factory-building game. The characters, also known as Operators, are obtainable from a gacha banner, and just like a typical action RPG, these characters will be the ones you use for combat.
However, in the livestream, the developer even teased that you can simply build buildings to fight for you, creating a more AFK gameplay.

This promises variety in the gameplay, which caters to the player's preference. Since base-building will be a big part of the game, every world will have its own design, as you're free to build your world as you see fit.
Other than for producing items, the exploration will also utilize the factory-building aspect. For instance, in the special program, the host shows how Endmin can drain a pool of water to discover a secret cave underneath. How you drain the pool and the amount of time needed to do so will depend entirely on how you handle the water-draining system.
Endministrators are the saviours of the world who just awoke from years of slumber
Before explaining the Endfield gameplay, the livestream also went over the context of the story: who you will be playing, what happened to the world, what challenges you'll be facing, and your goal for the world. As the Endministrator, you'll lead the Operators to expand and defend the surviving humanity. It's up to you how you shape the world and help the world thrive.
Expect free 5-star and 6-star Operators to start your journey in Talos-II
Arknights: Endfield promises a lot of freebies for its launch day. For example, there's a web event that offers a free 5-star weapon simply for checking in for a few days.A 5-star weapon and 5-star Operator, Snowshine, will also be rewarded for Endmin as a part of Endfield's pre-registration milestones.
Additionally, a 6-star weapon, Dreams of the Starry Beach, and a 6-star character, Ardelia, are obtainable from the beginner sign-in.
All these freebies don't scratch the surface of what the developer is offering, since there will still be a New Horizon Banner and a ton of free "pulls" for the banners.
For a further headstart, don't forget to redeem the codes RETURNOFALL and ALLFIELD to get a total of 2,000 Oroberyl.
Arknights: Endfield will be released on January 22nd 2026.
