Rossi and Tangtang will soon be playable in Arknights: Endfield 1.1

Arknights: Endfield version 1.0 is ending soon, and the developer has released a Dev Log to announce the next content. There's no livestream like other gacha games, but that's not a bad thing, as a video upload means you can skim through the topics you care about.

This also means that there's no "livestream code," but you still get 1,000 Oroberyl sent straight to your mailbox. Since that's equal to exactly 2 pulls, one can argue it's better than the typical 300-currency codes from livestreams, albeit less fun.

For me, the topic I'm most interested in is knowing who the next characters are going to be. Endfield revealed some notable characters like Mi Fu, Zhuang Fangyi, Ardashir, and so on. Now, it has been revealed that version 1.1 will come with two new characters, Tangtang and Rossi.

Arknights: Endfield 1.1 seems shorter than version 1.0

Endfield's Zeroth Directive was released with three banners that span across seven weeks, which is more and longer than the mainstream gacha games, so it's understandable if players expected the same for version 1.1.

However, it seems like the developer is not planning to make the same banner and cycle count, as version 1.1 only has two banners. If each one lasts for around 17 days, then the patch might last for five weeks instead of seven.

The update will begin with the release of Tangtang, a Caster-type Cryo character who uses Handcannons (guns), followed by Rossi, a Guard-type Physical character who wields a Sword.

Tangtang looks like she would make an excellent sub-DPS and crowd control unit, whereas Rossi is more interesting, as she works with both Physical and Elemental Inflictions.

So if you're building a Cryo team, like Last Rite or Yvonne's teams, you should pay attention to what Tangtang has to offer. Meanwhile, if you've been collecting Physical characters, Rossi might just be the filler you need.
