Arknights is a popular tower defense game, and its upcoming series, Arknights: Endfield, has been highly anticipated for a while now. The game is scheduled for release on January 22, 2026, which is in around two weeks.

To celebrate the upcoming launch day, Hypergryph has prepared a web event where you can earn a free 5-star weapon by completing simple tasks. This weapon is called Sundering Steel, and while it's currently unclear what the equipment does, it will surely be a boost for new players' journey as Endministrators.

The event runs until February 5th, 2026, which means you can still participate and get the weapon after the game officially launches. You can only claim the prizes after the game is live anyway, so there's no rush with the web event.

Getting the free 5-star weapon is as simple as logging in

To get the Sundering Steel, you must first log in to a Gryphline account, the one you will be using to play Arknights: Endfield. Next, collect the Special Supply from the team you have unlocked. Each team will give you 600 supplies daily, so make sure to come back every day.

Afterward, press Mission and do the various tasks to get a one-time Special Supply gift, along with the daily mission prizes you can get when entering the web event every day.

If you complete all the non-inivitation tasks, you should be getting around 2000 Special Supply daily. Inviting is not mandatory, but if someone uses your invite link, you will get a Lucky Draw chance, up to 20 chances.

Now, go to Supply Hub and spend 900 supplies to draw a prize. You're guaranteed the 5-star weapon after 10 pulls, meaning you only need to check in for 4 more days to get the equipment. If you care about cosmetics, though, don't stop there, as getting 15 pulls will earn you a free Portrait Frame.

The rewards you get will be added to the Depot, and you can claim the prize by moving them to the Backpack. The claim button will only be available after Endfield's release.
