Zenless Zone Zero reveals 10 new characters for Chapter 3

Previously, Zenless Zone Zero simply announced a playable Phaethon (kind of) and two new characters who will debut alongside the start of Chapter 3. But since it's a whole new version, HoYoverse announced an entire teaser for the chapter.

This time, a total of 10 characters were introduced, including the ones that were revealed previously.

The first is Norma, a Fire-Stun character who will be a part of ZZZ 3.0. She's a short character with blond hair and a love for explosions. Hmm... That sounds strangely familiar...

Next, we have Velina. She's set to be the first Wind character in ZZZ, with the Anomaly specialty.

Then there's Claret. Considering both Norma and Velina have a blue-ish color scheme, yet they're not an Ice character, I don't dare assume Claret would be either Physical or Fire. We'll have to wait for the official announcement for that.

Next, we have Roxy, who looks like a little frail girl, but if we know anything about ZZZ Agents, it's that they're always ridiculously strong. Take Corin, for example.

After that, we have Sigrid. She looks like another official worker, since she has the same color-scheme and uniform as Velina and Norma, who are both a part of the External Strategy Department.

There's also a Phoenix, although she looks like another frail character.

Finally, there's a potentially male Agent, Severian. It's another icy-looking male character with wolf ears. Wow, HoYo needs to get new ideas!

We'll also get a very mysterious The Storyteller.

ZZZ looks like it will have its own Elysia expy with Remielle, although the VA isn't the same as HI3's Elysia or HSR's Cyrene. Instead, Amber Lee Connors is the voice of Furina in Genshin Impact, or Nihilux in Honkai: Star Rail.

Finally, we'll have Sunbringer, who apparently had a cooler design previously.

Now, I like most of these characters, but I just have one question: Why are they all humans with animal ears? Is ZZZ driving away from its original feature for the sake of selling? I guess that's how gacha games always end up...

Anywho, if things stay on schedule, Chapter 3 in ZZZ will start around June 17, 2026.
