Worms Across Worlds brings explosive fun to Apple Arcade this August
Since launching back in 1995, Team17’s Worms franchise has become a phenomenon, and for good reason. It is a simple premise, but executed in such a way that it provides endless fun. The good times are looking to keep rolling, thanks to the release of Worms Across Worlds.
Now let’s get the bad news out of the way; it is only available on iOS. It is not enough that they are getting to torment Skully in Waltz of the Wizard; now the chaotic Worms will be platform locked. You will also need to be subscribed to Apple Arcade.
Worms Across Worms will take you on a trip through the multiverse, doing explosive battle across a diverse set of biomes in the Campaign Mode. Your army of wiggly Worms is trying to hunt down Professor Worminkle to prevent him and his machines from destroying the universe.

Your journey will take you across the Crystal, Jelly, Origami, Crochet, and Lava worlds, each with different hazards to fall into. There are over 100 missions to take on across 12 chapters, but you need not tackle them alone. You can team up with a friend for couch co-op and enjoy the chaos together.
If you fancy a slightly less structured social time, you can head into local multiplayer to try some 4-team battles. These can be a mixture of human and AI, so you can join forces to beat the computer, or instead pile on your friends.
One of the best mechanics Worms Across Worlds has is the Practice Arena. Here you can try out all the available weapons at your leisure. This is great because Worms sometimes lacks explanations. Learn what your various headbands and sheep do, and then dive into this multiverse of madness.
Worms Across Worlds will launch on August 7th for the Apple Arcade.
