Play Together beautifully tows the line between parody and Copyright lawsuit in latest event

It is almost time for Valentine's Day, and Play Together is celebrating with an homage to one of the most romantic films out there: Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. You know, that film about corporate espionage and terrible things happening to children. I think they want us to focus on the chocolate.
A chocolate factory has opened in the Plaza of Kaia Island, run by a man named - and this is the entire reason I am writing about this update - Billy Bonka. I absolutely adore the silliness here. Anyway, Bonkas’ aside, the factory is in a bit of a state, and it is up to you to get it ship-shape. You can do this by catching flying chocolates and completing a variety of missions that will award you event coins. To nab these pesky airborne treats you will need to use that trust and multiple propose Bug Net. Maybe wash it first though. There is also a chance to acquire two costume sets; the Milk Twin set, and the Choco Twin set.

Throughout all of this, you will find yourself racking up the Bonka Coins, a currency I hope they implement full-time. This will give you access to a random draw that includes costume items, pieces of furniture, and a chocolate-themed vehicle. Hopefully, it's not the boat from that film, that was a weird scene.
Finally, from February 13th, the Bonka’s Golden Ticket event will kick off. This tasks players with finding a total of 15 alphabet letters scattered around locations such as the Plaza, Camping Ground, Downtown, and the Resort. Collect them all and you will spell out the phrase Bonka’s Chocolate, which is a reward in and of itself. However, you will also get the Golden Chocolate Top Hat and a card pack.
Play Together is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
