Play Together welcomes the mighty Celestial Dragon in the latest update

Play Together has had a strange run of events lately, with ghostly Cinderellas, Aliens, and Dinosaurs roaming Kaia Island, to name just a few. Well, it seems that whatever Haegin has been taking has finally run out, since we are receiving a nice, peaceful, mystical update named Celestial Dragon Island. 

The titular Island exists surrounded by clouds, where the denizens coexist with the flying Cloud Dragons. It is said the powerful Celestial Dragon wakes once every millennium, and wouldn’t you know it, the time is upon us. Coincidences, eh?

As the Celestial Dragon wakes, energy is surging across the island, causing all sorts of havoc. Players will lend a hand to residents, including High Priestess Tianhui, and her disciple Yuner, in order to prepare the Celestial Dragon Ritual. And it appears that the humble fish is the key to this ritual.

You will need to procure critters and fish infused with dragon energy, and raise Celestial Peaches on the farm to purify the energy. Then, offer these at the dragon’s altar. The Celestial Peaches are a repeatedly harvestable crop that will mutate depending on the weather and environment, including Rainbow, Dew, Wet, or Sky Lantern.

After you welcome the great and all-powerful Celestial Dragon, you can then stuff this noble creature into your pocket and make it a pet, along with the Cloud Dragons. If you collect all 15, you will be able to take part in the Dragons’ Grand Banquet event to earn in-game currency, a Cloud Dragon costume, and the Friend of Dragons nametag, which I would totally wear with pride.

There is an Offering to the Dragon minigame you can join with Luck Coins to win rewards, including the Dragon Priestess costume, and the Celestial Dragon that can be ridden by two people. You can also head to the Fox Workshop for a limited time, earn rewards by completing collections of fish and critters in the Restore the Lost Records, and earn Minime costumes by logging in under the Peach-Filled Attendance event.
