Zenless Zone Zero introduces multiple characters and modes in new version

HoYo is looking to ring in the New Year with Zenless Zone Zero version 1.5 placing famous in-game singer Astra Yao on the stage. She will perform at Starloop, with her trusty bodyguard Evelyn and the Proxy keeping watch for any and all conspiracies threatening the concert.

You will be able to recruit the star of the show as an S-Rank Ether Support, and she sounds pretty interesting. Astra can enter the Idyllic Cadenza state, boosting her team's attack. She will even stick around to buff should you switch members, which is perfect for a burst window. You can also use her Ultimate to heal everyone, an extra bonus.

Following closely behind Astra is her bodyguard, S-Rank Fire Attacker Evelyn. Her attacks will build up Burning Tether Point, which when full will allow Evelyn to use a Chain Attack solo. Using Ultimate will trigger the Dance of Awkaned Fire, with a follow-up use unlocking a new animation.

Qingyi and Ellen will also be returning in the Version 1.5 banners if you missed these last time. Just to note; Qingyi makes a good Stun unit for Harumasa, who you can still pick up for free until January 21st. Finally, you can grab the S-Rank Bangboo Snap, perfect for photography buffs.

If you fancy a new parkour minigame, you can head over to Godfinger for some vehicular fun. Bizarre Brigade will be welcoming a 2-player PvE mode, and you can grab 7 new Dream Seekers including, Wise and Belle. For some tough battles, the Endless Tower: The Last Stand and Perpetrator Battles will give you a challenge.

Now for the true endgame; Costumes. Ellen, Astra, and Nicole will have new outfits, and you can get Nicoles by completing the Ridu’s Got Boo Bangboo pageant. Finally, the Elpis Ultimate Angler championship will test your fishing skills with rewards such as a dynamic wallpaper on offer.
