Kuro Games has released Version 1.4 of Wuthering Waves, bringing with it a host of additions. When the Night Knocks introduces a fantastically powerful five-star Resonator complete with a companion story, as well as a new take on the Somnoire: Illusive Realms mode.

Version 1.4 brings forth the Somnium Labyrinth, a roguelike adventure set in a dream, where a train derailment opens a gateway to a realm of illusions. Inside a figure entreats you forward, warning of a potential calamity should this nightmare spill out.

Starting now you can try your hand at the End of the Lost Trailer Convene to pick up the new five-star Havoc Resonator Camellya. By all accounts at this early stage, she is a tremendously powerful fighter, able to dish out massive damage using her Blossom Mode.

To balance it though, she can’t move in this state, so you will have to consider your positioning to best utilise her. If you manage to pull Camellya, then you might want to also invest in a few pulls of the new weapon Convene to pick up Red Spring, her signature sword. It might be early, but she seems like a potential team cornerstone.

Looking ahead to Phase II, we will see the return of Yinlin and Xiangli Yaos’ Convenes. Yinlin is a solid sub-DPS in an Electro team, and Xiangli Yao just so happens to be an ace Electro DPS, so save up and get a pre-made duo.

Coincidentally, the four-star Lumi will be introduced in both these Convenes, as an Electro character who can switch between ranged and melee attacks, so those on a budget could pick her up with Xiangli Yao for a solid team. Phase II will also have weapon Convenes for Stringmaster and Verity’s Handle.

On top of all this, you can recruit the Phantom: Inferno Rider Echo, and enjoy the Forking Path Among the Stars companion story with Camellya. New aesthetics are available in the form of Weapon Transmogrifications of the Somnoire Anchor and Formless Series. Finally, there are a host of events to enjoy, such as the 7-Day Login Event Gifts of Fleeting Dreams, and Combat Events including Pincer Maneuver Warriors and Tactical Simulacra II.

Wuthering Waves is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
