Fabled Game Studio has announced the launch date for its upcoming strategy board game, Spiritle. Starting June 28th, you will be able to choose your spirit and engage in some elemental mind games as you battle to return to the World Tree.

Spiritle is a four-player board game where you pick yourself an incarnated spirit from a pool of eight choices, and do battle to reclaim your place in the World Tree. Each character has their own unique skills that lend themselves to different playstyles, however, you will also need to contend with the changing of the seasons. There are four elements to contend with; Nature, Earth Water and Fire, and four seasons, each that lasts three months. They will heavily impact how the game unfolds and what moves to make, including changing the environment, characters’ skill selection, or just totally changing the whole board. Mastering these changes is vital to winning.

When Spiritle launches it will be in its first season, the Season of Earth. This is punctuation by its Megalith, which brings Attack damage to any Spirit that is near the Tree of Brutality, so we are starting off pretty aggressively. Each season brings a variety of rewards to unlock, such as Golden Nuts and Avatar decoration, as well as a leaderboard to scramble up for the special League Chests on offer.

When announcing the game, Fabled Game Studio Game Producer, Nicolas Lavergne, said: “We are so excited to finally share our beloved homage to party and board games with players across the world in Spiritle”

“This is a game for everybody, across mobile and PC, with easy-to-grasp manoeuvres and play tactics that make it simple to pick up and play, but then build in depth to test even the master strategist. We challenge you to beat the board, and we look forward to hearing what you think!”

Spiritle will be available for the App Store and Google Play on June 28th.
