Start your engines and ready for mayhem as Rocket League Sideswipe enters Season 10

Rocket League Sideswipe has entered double-digits, as Season 10 has kicked off. Go on a shopping spree with the new Item Shop stock, climb the ladders to get the exclusive season banners, or simply cut about with the return of one of Sideswipe's most hectic modes.

Season 10 brings back what is arguably one of Rocket League's most fun modes; Heatseeker, and in Ranked no less. In this mode, the ball has a mind of its own, and with any tap from a player, it will start to home in on the opponent's net, adding even more of a chaotic feel to proceedings. It does take a little bit of skill away from aiming the perfect shot, let's be honest, however, that's balanced by just how fun and unpredictable the movements become. Any tap will curve the ball so you will need to predict your defence better, or if you are confident it will be hitting your backboard, lay off and let it ricochet right back to your opponent's goal instead. Just try not to get in its way.

Of course, a new season brings with it a whole new set of Season Player Banners to collect. We all know the drill by now; collect these exclusive shiny show-off badges by rising through the ranks as high as you can, and then at the end of the season you will be gifted the banner based on your peak rank. Can you reach the top spot and be immortalized for seasons to come?

Finally, the item store has got its customary reset and comes bearing three painted cars, because there's no point in winning if you aren't styling.
