Blue Wizard Digital has released Slashy Camp onto iOS and Android after it spent a short amount of time in early access.

Inspired by slasher films of the 1980s, Slashy Camp has you playing as a serial killer called Skullface, who hunts isolated campgrounds for campers to kill. Using your finger you swipe on the screen to control his actions and stalk the teenagers.

Meanwhile you’ll also need to avoid different hazards such as campfires, bottomless lakes, landmines and spike traps, but you can also use these obstacles against the campers for extra points.

As well as that, you can also earn points just for playing which will unlock new characters to play as inspired by classic horror characters such as Wolfman, Vampire, Slime Monster and Fishman.

Blue Wizard Digital has described Slashy Camp as a “horrific new love-child between Crossy Road and 1980s horror movies,” and the development studio has also created games with a similar theme in Slayaway Camp and Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle.

In addition to that, you can also collect new weapons which will be able to be used against your victims. These include a chainsaw, machete and even a fish.

If that sounds like a game you'd fancy then you can download Slashy Camp now from the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store, where it is a free to play title containing in-app purchases.
