So you've reached level 20 in Shadowgun Legends, and you're trying to figure out what to do next? Well, the game still has plenty to offer anyone who's reached the level cap, it's just that you need to be a little more selective with what you do.

In this guide we're going to look at how you can keep your fame and power rising, as well as what happens to the XP you earn when you're already in the top tier of Shadowguns. If you've got your own suggestions to share, feel free to add them in the comments section at the bottom of the article.

Play the arena and dungeons

While you'll still get single player missions when you've hit level 20, the biggest rewards are waiting for you in the arena and the dungeons. These multiplayer instances are going to give you amazing gear, as well as upping your fame rating not inconsiderably.

They're pretty long experiences though, so if you're just jumping into the game for a few minutes, it's best to tackle something shorter and simpler. Make sure you've joined a guild as well, as that's going to make finding players easier, and make the challenges more entertaining.

Chase the challenges

You're still going to have challenge missions running when you hit level 20, so focusing on them is a great way to boost your fame and power. Every time you play try and make a dint in these missions. When you finish one of them, it'll often open up the next, and it'll offer up even more fabulous rewards.

A lot of these, especially the ones from Hakim, are focussed on Ascension. That can be a little annoying, since it's not the most populous part of the multiplayer aspects that Shadowgun Legends offers up. Sometimes it's worth jumping in the queue then heading out to do other things while the game matches you up.

Earn that XP

While you won't level up any more once you hit 20, all the XP that you earn is still counted. Every time you fill up the XP bar, you'll be given a reward. Often this is a useful piece of gear, alongside some more fame and money. But of which are incredibly useful in Shadowgun Legends.

That means that even if you're only playing through a couple of shorter single player missions, you're still going to be watching your numbers going up. Try and play every day, to claim the rewards the game gives you, and tailor your sponsorship contracts so you're getting the most money every time you log in.
