Tower of God: New World is about to get a whole lot easier with the release of a stupendous new SSR+ character. To celebrate this broken arrival three special events are going on, as well as two new modes to try out.

The highlight of the update is the arrival of the SSR+ recruit, [Soul Fragment] Albelda. At the start of a battle, she automatically applies Power of Spirits to her nearest ally, increasing their ATK and DEF by 100% of Albeldas’ ATK and DEF. If this ally dies, it gets transferred to the next closest, and she can’t be targeted until all other allies are dead.

She also can't cast skills without another ally around, so you will want to use Sword of Protection to block all enemy attacks on her and her linked partner five times. Hopeful Decision increases the Power of Spirits stat boost by 200% for 10s, and Festing Resentment deals heavy damage to an enemy, whilst Locking them and decreasing their ATK and DEF by 80% for 8s.

Albelda is an all-around amazing character if you get her a strong damage-dealing partner, making her indispensable for the new event boss; [Healing Flame] Yihwa Yeon. You will earn Boss Warmth points depending on the amount of damage dealt to this boss before October 23rd, with prizes dished out based on your score.

For another challenge, you can take on the Tower Race, and compete to see who can conquer the highest floor of a tower first. Win, and you will earn Headons Tokens which can be used to activate a strong buff. You can also nab yourself SSR Soulstones and a Tower Race Border. The first season of this event will last through October 12.

It is a good time to download Tower of God: New World, thanks to the events going on. Log in for 14 days and you will earn SSR Soulstones, Expirable Suspendiums and more thanks to the Check-In Event. Tru out Albeda for three days and earn Master Keys by clearing missions with the Trail Event. Finally, if you manage to obtain Albedla, power her up through Boost Missions rewarding [Soul Fragment] Albeda two more times, as well as dropping SSR+ Soulstones. Head to the App Store and Google Play to try it out.
