Persephone is an asymmetric puzzler that requires you to die repeatedly to solve its many tricky challenges. It pulls its characters and setting from Greek mythology, casting you first as Persephone, the queen of the underworld and wife to Hades himself.

Since launching back in 2018, the game has received a number of major content updates that added a surprising number of new missions. Now, the story is finally complete, and Persephone, Demeter, and Hades all have their own campaigns to work your way through.

There are now 100 levels split across 10 distinct chapters, each with their own mechanics to learn and master. The concept of dying over and over again to solve puzzles could prove to be annoying, so I'm very much interested to see how exactly it's handled.

Outside of its puzzles, Persephone aims to deliver a "magical world enriched with beautiful graphics and captivating music," and from the brief gameplay I've seen, it appears to do exactly that.

I'm yet to give this one a go myself, and now seems like the perfect time to get involved. If you're similarly interested, you'll find Persephone available for download from over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a premium title priced at $3.99.
