Old School RuneScape is delivering battles of epic proportions with the arrival of the Royal Titans

I am a big ol’ sucker for anything Norse-related, and by Odin's beard is Old School RuneScape delivering on that, even if it is in the signature Jagex parody-eske manner. Players will be able to do battle with two gargantuan giants, as the Royal Titans crash into Gielinor for members.

The Fire Queen Brandr is leading the fire giants in a vicious attempt to expand their territory and make their way to the Asgarnian Ice Cave. Here they are met by the opposing ice giants, led by the King of Frost, Eldric. It is much funnier if you imagine Eldric as the Ice King from Adventure Time just as a side note. You can insert yourself into this feud, but be aware that this is a dual-boss encounter. Apparently, Brandr and Eldric can be at each other's throats but will team up in an instant when anyone tries to intrude. Don't you worry, though, as you can fight these two solo or with a friend along for the ride.

Defeating these foes will earn you a plethora of rewards, starting with the Giantsoul Amulet. This will teleport you to one of three giant bosses; Obor, Bryophyta, or the Royal Titans themselves. You can also grab the Twinflame Staff, Prayer Scrolls, and a Fire & Ice giant pet.

For those looking to brush up on their Slayer levels, Royal Titans also introduce a Slayer Alternative Task. Take on any fire giant or ice giant task and you will start earning this experience. Mid-late game level players will be able to take on an epic boss in a PvM battle, complete with exclusive rewards.

Finally, Old School RuneScape is celebrating its 12th birthday on February 19th, although just to keep us feeling old, the original RuneScape is twice that age.
