We have all had those periods where we drift away from our favourite games for whatever reason, and a few months or years down the line you want to return but you can’t recall the story, or the game has advanced too much with new features like Infinite Lagrange. Luckily, NetEase has a solution.

On April 19th, all former Pioneers of the NetEase space epic Infinite Lagrange are invited back to the fold with the upcoming Return Server. As the name suggests, this server is solely for those who have strayed from the flock and wish to return, and as such there are a few conditions to join.

Applications for this server will start on launch and last until May 3rd, and you need to have not logged in for at least 30 days since April 5th. You also need to have expanded your base to Area 5, so you need to have made a bit of progress in your past stint. This does lock out those who only dabbled, which is a shame, but on the flip side, it is nice for those veterans with a bit of knowledge to have their own place to come. To see if you qualify, boot up the game on hit the return activity button.

But what have I missed, I hear you cry. Well, wipe away your tears, as NetEase have you covered there with the Lagrange History and Galaxy Information features. Lagrange History lets you unlock up to three missed events, granting access to Tech Files with a higher chance to get valuable battleship and fighter blueprints from that particular time, which is pretty cool.

The Galaxy Information is pretty much what it sounds like; an abridged lore dump. Here you will have a quick and easy way to catch up on missed events and updates from the cast year, such as the flagship ability that launched in November 2022, or the Nova Agreement that completely change the game's competitive aspect.

Infinite Lagrange can be downloaded now from the App Store and Google Play.
