The Marvel Snap team has announced the latest Series Drop for its collectible card game for players to get excited over. It is time for you to pull out your pencils and start building your new decks as you can get your hands on some powerful cards.

For those that don’t know, when cards drop in Series that means they effectively become less rare, with more ways to get them. This allows more players to get more powerful cards, resulting in more fun matches all around. The most exciting part of this announcement is of course the Series 5 to 4 cards. On the face of it, the 4-cost Darkhawk looks like one to pass on with its 1 power, however, it is in fact a must-have if you build a deck around cards like Rockslide who adds 2 basically useless cards to your opponent's deck. Not only does this make it harder for them to draw their powerful cards, but Darkhawk will also gain 2 power for each card in the opponent’s deck, upgrading you from a nescience to a legitimate danger.

If you like big numbers, definitely take a look at the 6-cost Knull. They begin as a 0 power, however, they will then gain the combined power of every destroyed card in the game. A frighteningly powerful card if you can keep them around long enough. For some more spread-out big numbers, check out the 3-cost Silver Surfer and his ability to give all other 3-cost cards plus 2 power, creating a very concerning army for your opponent.

The final card that is being dropped is the 4-cost Sentry with 8 power. A strong card indeed, however, he can’t be played on the right side, and on reveal he will summon a minus 8 power Void in the right field, which is a huge drawback. Short of having a way to put this Void on your opponent's side, there are few situations where this would be beneficial, so skip this one.

Our Series 3 to 4 drops are unfortunately not the most exciting. If you are building a SHIELD deck then check them out, but for the most part, they will be passed over. Agent Coulson and Maria Hill add random cards to your hand which is not the most consistent mechanic to build a deck on, with Helicarrier just being discard fodder to draw 3 more cards, which is useful to a point, but overall these are a niche set.
