How to complete limited time events in MARVEL Avengers Academy
Last week, MARVEL Avengers Academy received an update, adding the first time-limited side mission into the fray.
You'll be working to build a beach with the help of Tony Stark, Wasp, and Loki, and we're going to break down exactly what you need to do to complete it.
What do you need?
Because this is a side quest, you might be wondering if there's a recommended level or set of academy infrastructure you need before diving into these quests. Thankfully, the prerequisites for this beach quest are pretty modest. Here's all you'll need:
- 100 Credits
- Heroes: Tony Stark, Wasp, and Loki
- Costume Shop
If you have all these and enough lead time, it should be easy enough to jump into and complete. If not, check out our guide to getting heroes faster and for free.
Start ASAP
A whole week to complete these missions sounds like a lot of time, but considering the time investment needed to complete them, it's actually a pretty tight window.
For instance, the level three beach upgrade takes over a day to complete, so if you do plan on completing it, you should start early and play often.
Should I do this quest over the main story?
If you're still leveling up and are wondering whether you should go for the beach event over the main quest, you might as well go for it. You'll still get gold and other rewards even if you don't finish in time.
And heck, if you do finish, you'll get some free costumes and a funny story line to enjoy.
What are these "other rewards?"
If you gather enough beach balls (or whatever the special side quest currency happens to be in future quests), you should be able to purchase some special costumes without spending too many credits or any of the other core game currencies.
One of these costumes is actually a requirement for completing the quest line, though it's hard to say if that will remain the case for future quests.
You'll also gain access to new decor for your academy and some premium costumes, though these won't be required to push any of the quests forward.
