Infinite Lagrange gears up to launch a spectacular new version this August

These are very interesting new times for NetEase Games' sci-fi SLG game Infinite Lagrange, with a strange new version being released. In August, the Lagrange Generation Legacy Registration version will be released, bringing a whole new storyline and a unique new mechanic to the game.

The Lagrange Legacy storyline will be focused on one new and mysterious authority group; the Lagrange Legacy Administration. These are a neutral and non-profit group, which already sounds suspicious as all get out, that possesses the biggest archive of information on the Legacy. The Administration also hold full authorization to identify and evaluate an Explorer’s Strategic Assets, as well as being responsible for inducting the most valuable finds into the Lagrange Legacy Catalog. These powerful librarians protect and maintain the remnants of our forefathers, and aim to preserve and pass these on to future generations. A noble goal, yet still highly suspicious!

As well as this literal lore dump of a group, this Legacy Version will also be introducing a new Strategic Assets gameplay mode, suggesting we will be acting as hunters for new scraps of information for the Administration. This mode will allow Explorers to collect and analyze unidentified strategic assets, which will then be identified and utilized to aid Explorers in a variety of situations, which sounds pretty interesting that our hunting will have beneficial uses.

This massive update has been cooking for quite a while, and suspicious group or not, the Strategic Asset system sounds like it is going to open up so much more of the universe with explorers hunting down pieces of information in every corner of the galaxy. It is always enjoyable to dive deep into the lore of an interesting game, and even more so when you are the one who discovers the information.
