Tilting Point continues its Nickelodeon affiliation with the upcoming Avatar strategy game

Tilting Point is teaming up with strategy developer extraordinaire AN Games to announce an upcoming real-time tactical game based on that most storied of series; Avatar: The Last Airbender. Players will interact with beloved characters as they seek to defeat a Barbarian Death Cult, bent on dominating the world.

In an interesting take on an Avatar game, you will not directly be playing as the Gaang. Instead, you will take on the mantle of leader, tasked with building a whole army and community in order to restore balance to the world. You will need to build cities, manage resources, and lead your troops to victory on the battlefield. You aren't alone in this fight, however, as you will be able to cooperatively engage with other players to expand territories and manage resources. There is currently no confirmation that there will also be PvP aspects as with many of these tactical city-building games, but in a setting such as the Avatar world in this type of story, that is presumably unlikely.

During the announcement, Titling Point Founds and CEO Kevin Segalla said: "My kids grew up watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and I was there for every episode. We loved it so much that when they got older, the whole family got our first tattoos - each of us with one of the four element symbols that best represented our personalities!

“Nickelodeon and Paramount Consumer Products created an amazing show, and between Tilting Point and the mobile strategy experts at AN Games, we are super excited to be making a game that will be just as amazing."

As of now, we don’t have any official name for this project, however, there is a release window of 2024. An Avatar city builder is a fairly interesting take on the series, and with Tilting Point already having a suite of Nickelodeon projects under their belts, it is in safe hands.
