If we can all agree on something, it is that we all love the turtles and the dolphins that call the sea their home, so it is a very promising sign that thatgamecompany is continuing its partnership with The Ocean Cleanup in its RPG Sky: Children of the Light.

For the third year in a row, developer thatgamecompany has teamed up with The Ocean Cleanup, a nonprofit with the aim of ridding the world’s oceans, rivers and assorted bodies of water of the immense amount of plastic that gets thrown into them, with the help of their smart machines. However, that all costs money.

Since 2021, Sky has raised over 1.3 million dollars with the help of its player base, which is where we all step in. To help continue the good work, you can purchase the charity items released in this year’s Days of Nature event. By buying The Nature Glasses Pack, Ocean Necklace, Nature Turtle Pack and more, a portion of the cost will go straight to The Ocean Cleanup.

It isn’t all charitable items and saving the world in this update, as Days of Nature will also be expanding the game's lore with a brand-new quest. The Nature Guide Spirit will whisk players over to one of the Sanctuary islands of Daylight Prairie, where you can clean the water of debris and other darkness to free the new Light Creature friends. You can even complete this quest and meet these new characters after this event ends if you have a lot on your plate right now.

Days of Nature will run until May 7th, so make sure you buy the limited-time items whilst you can to help the good cause. Sky: Children of the Light can be downloaded now from the App Store and Google Play.
