Celebrate the season with special aesthetics and a new event to forget the horrors for just a little while.

When you think of this more festive of times, one of the first things to come to mind is reindeer with big red noses. Unfortunately, they have all been tied to sleighs or enrolled on flying courses, so NetEase has had to improvise, introducing the Golden Deer Hunt instead. Close enough.

As you scavenge across the Exclusion Zones, you may come across a very high-value item; the Golden Deer. Acquire it, and it will be yours to show off, sounds simple right? Well, it only spawns in certain areas of the map, and everyone will want it. See where this is going? Enjoy your Goldeen Deer mosh pits as everyone tries to grab it!

Who else is in the arena hunting for these deer? That’s right, Santa Clause himself! Luckily for us mere mortals, he doesn’t seem to be in the mood to fight. Instead, he has packed his sleigh full of clothes. Unfortunately, he has learned the value of Capitalism and no longer just gives things away. Players will be able to buy a few special Christmas outfits to celebrate the festive time.

After you have finished festooning yourself in holiday sparkles, it is time to deck your guns out too, because what are you, selfish, it's their Christmas too!
