Boxing Star has introduced a new way to take on your opponents in latest update

FourThirtyThree Inc, the rather peculiarly named developer, has announced the latest update to its global sports game Boxing Star. It is time to gear up with your best players and test your mettle in the gauntlet of the Battle Stadium.

This new mode is called the Battle Stadium, and it sounds like it can be quite the tactical showcase. You must choose two characters to face off against a variety of NPCs, with the goal of defeating as many as you can within the designated rounds.

Do you go for some glass cannons to take down as many as you can whilst knowing you won’t make it all the way, or take a bruiser who can last longer? There are a few ways to approach this new system, and it is definitely going to be worth a look.

On top of this new way to play, this update will also introduce three new Bio Hears to equip on your character to provide special skill options and new combo techniques to up your game. You can also input four specific actions in sequence to unleash a super combo with various effects, but all capable of knocking your opponent on their behind. There are also two new costumes being added to win in style, the Pretender Suit Costume and the 13-League Champion Belt.

To celebrate all this newness, anyone that logs in by May 4th will receive a bounty of in-game items and rewards to get a leg up on the competition. There will also be a new Bio Gear tutorial for those who have never played a game with the equipment before, and a new feature to customize icons and nicknames in the profile change popup to let you add a bit more personality to your player.
