Sparxie is here to finally complete your first Elation team in Honkai: Star Rail

If you excitedly pulled for Yao Guang to get the first Elation character, you may end up being disappointed with her performance. This is because she's not meant to be played without other Elation units, where her "Elation enabling" couldn't replace a best-in-slot support in top teams.

Thankfully, you no longer have to suffer with Yao Guang's lack of usefulness, as Sparxie is here to make them both shine. Unlike Yao Guang, whose kit is more supportive, Sparxie enables the duo to deal massive damage, especially in the current end-game content, which boosts Elation-related attacks.

HoYo definitely knows what they're doing with this patch. Yao Guang's banner lasts for an entire version, which means you can still pull for her after getting Sparxie, and then you can even get Sparxie's best support, Sparkle, for free, via the Commencement Reception event.

One of Sparxie's talents states that she needs three Elation characters in the team to reach her maximum potential, so you may need to wait extra time to fulfill this condition.

However, even with only two Elation characters, the end-game Elation buffs are bound to make Sparxie and Yao Guang relevant. She consumes a lot of Skill Points when you cast her Skill, which is why Sparkle is her best support, since Sparkle can expand the team's maximum Skill Points and restore them easily.

For the last slot in Sparxie's team, you need a survival unit, so either put Huohuo for her healing and Energy Regen, or a shielder like Dan Heng Permansor Terrae or Aventurine.

Sparxie's banner in Honkai: Star Rail lasts for three weeks, as per the usual duration. It begins on March 3, 2026, and ends on March 24, 2026.
