Honkai: Star Rail announces two new Fate/stay Night characters and 4.3 banners

After recently announcing the release of Himeko Nova, Honkai: Star Rail has dropped two more drip marketing, this time for phase 2 of the Fate/stay Night collabs.

The first character is Rin Tohsaka. Unlike characters like Saber, Archer, or Gilgamesh, Rin is actually a Master, not a Servant. However, likely due to her popularity, games have adopted alternate versions of Rin, where she acts as a Pseudo-Servant or Demi-Servant. This may be the case with the HSR spinoff, too.

Speaking of Gilgamesh, he will be the fourth Fate/Stay Night character in Honkai: Star Rail. Just like Archer, he will be a free character. In fact, you can choose between Gilgamesh and Archer, if you didn't get the latter the first time.

Gilgamesh is set to be a Lightning-Destruction character. This combination was last seen in version 1.0, as the 4-star Arlan is the only one with these attributes. Meanwhile, Rin is a Quantum-Erudition unit. So she will precede Jade and Qingque with this combination.

The Fate/stay Night characters will debut on July 24, 2026.

Honkai: Star Rail livestream announces upcoming banners for version 4.3

Version 4.3 will begin with the release of Mortenax Blade and the rerun of Yao Guang. Then, the second phase will feature the reruns of Cyrene and Phainon.

The rerun of Yao Guang will allow players who missed her the first time to complete their Elation team, since she's the core support for this niche.

A new area called Inkford Hermitage will also be available, along with new materials to support the release of the new Paths and elements that are coming soon.

HSR 4.3 will launch on June 1, 2026, or May 31, 2026, depending on your time zone.
