Relics in Honkai: Star Rail are a core piece of equipment for your characters. Other than Light Cones, which are the equivalent of a weapon, the game changer for your units is the Relic you give them.

This is why it's important to give characters the correct Relic set, as a suitable set will greatly complement one's playstyle.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.1 introduces two new Planar Ornaments

Punklorde Stage Zero and City of Converging Stars are the two new Planar Ornaments in the next version of HSR. Here's their set effect:

  • Punklorde Stage Zero: Increases the wearer's Elation by 8%. When Elation reaches 40%/80% for the first time in battle, increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 20%/32%
  • City of Converging Stars: When the wearer uses a Follow-Up ATK, increases their ATK by 24% for 2 turns. When an enemy target is defeated, increases CRIT DMG for all allies by 12% for the rest of the current battle. This effect cannot stack

Punklorde Stage Zero looks like a generalist Elation set, so it's likely the best-in-slot for Silver Wolf SP and Evanescia, both of which are scheduled for Honkai: Star Rail 4.2.

Meanwhile, City of Converging Stars is a more unique set. It gives ATK boost for a Follow-up ATK unit, and when an enemy is defeated, all allies gain 12% Crit DMG for the rest of the current battle.

This means that this is a sub-DPS/support set, likely meant to be the best-in-slot Relic set for Ashveil.

Right now, Ashveil's kit feels incomplete. He has several buff/debuff abilities, but his playstyle looks more like a DPS. This is probably because he's meant to work as a support for a future main DPS. Word on the street is that the main DPS for Ashveil would be Blade SP, with many theorizing that Blade will also be a non-Elation unit.

All in all, Ashveil may have a ton of potential in his future, and may be an Anaxa-situation all over again. But for now, we can't truly know what he's capable of, so it's understandable if many players choose to skip him.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.1 debuts on March 24 or March 25, and will last for only four weeks instead of six weeks.
