Genshin Impact releases another Geo character, possibly a support for Zibai for version Luna VI

Another character from Genshin Impact's silhouette teaser is finally officially revealed as Linnea, a Geo character from Nod-Krai. Linnea is an advisor of the Adventurer's Guild, but that part of her identity is not as interesting as the reason for her unique appearance.

It seems that Linnea is not human, but rather a fae or fairy. However, unlike Flins, who looks mostly human, Linnea has a striking feature that signifies her fae blood, which is the wing-like ornament on her head.

Her Nod-Krai origins likely mean Linnea is another Lunar character

Zibai was released just one version ago, and she already shakes the meta with her crazy Lunar-Crystallized damage, especially when combined with Columbina.

However, as of now, Zibai's team is not premium enough, since her best teammates include 4-star units like Illuga, Aino, and Gorou. Knowing HoYo and their constant "this 5-star is the best support for this DPS" pattern, it's more than likely that Linnea will be the premium support for Zibai.

Considering Lunar reaction damage is already massive as it is, you can expect Linnea to bring Zibai to a whole new tier. So, if you're a meta-chaser and missed/skipped her as I did, this may be bad news for you.

Of course, we won't know much about Linnea until HoYoverse reveals her official kit in the next livestream. We're not even in Phase 2 yet, so it would still be a while until you find out more.

For now, you can assess Linnea's value purely from whether you like her or not. After all, if pulling for a character makes you happy, you should do so. Gacha game is more than just meta-chasing, and powercreeping is always a threat, so don't sweat meta too much.
