Columbina redefines Lunar reactions with her arsenal of supportive kit

Columbina was originally known as the third of the Fatui Harbinger, but in the Nod-Krai storyline, it was revealed that she's known there as Kuutar, the Moon Goddess of Nod-Krai.

It's hard to figure out the full history of Teyvat, since a lot of its lore is available from bits and scraps of stories in the world, but to put it simply, before the Heavenly Principle came, the world was ruled by Nibelung, the second descender.

Nibelung creates the Three Moons and their goddesses, Aria, Sonnet, and Canon. Later on, all three goddesses meet their demise, but one of the surviving Moons, the Frost Moon, gave birth to Columbina, making her the new Moon Goddess.

Columbina is practically the equivalent of an Archon for Genshin Impact version 6+. Therefore, it's no surprise that she's notably more powerful than the previous Nod-Krai characters.

Columbina turns Nod-Krai exclusive Lunar reactions into a universally available team comp

Previously, if you wanted to play a Lunar reaction, you needed to bring characters who use a Moon Wheel. For example, Lunar-Charged is enabled by Ineffa or Flins, while Lunar-Bloom is available by bringing Lauma or Nefer.

Columbina is a game-changer since she enables all Lunar reactions by simply being in the party. Whether it's Electro-Charged, Bloom, or Hydro-Crystallize, as long as Columbina is present, they will all be converted into Lunar-Charged, Lunar-Bloom, or Lunar-Crystallize, respectively.

This means that you're no longer locked to having specific characters for only one of the three Lunar reactions, as Columbina enables all of them at once.

On top of making Lunar reactions a universally available mechanic, Columbina also provides massive buffs to ensure non-Nod-Krai characters can still compete with the Nod-Krai people.

For example, the base damage of Lunar reactions may increase up to 7%, and all Lunar reactions will have a chance to deal extra instances of damage. Columbina will also contribute a decent DPS while supporting the team with her constant Hydro application.

Of course, Columbina's buff will take Moon Wheel wielders' Lunar reactions to one level higher than the normal Vision characters. But, since you don't always get the chance to have all the characters, Columbina's ability to open up Lunar reactions universally will surely change how players can enjoy the Lunar reaction in the future.
