Genshin Impact is starting off 2026 with a Luna IV livestream

Genshin Impact Luna III, or as fans insistently call it, version 6.2, is coming to an end on January 13, 2026. For that, HoYoverse has scheduled a special program to tease what's coming on Luna IV (aka Genshin Impact 6.3).

The Luna IV livestream will begin on January 2, 2026, at 12:00 AM ET (UTC-5). If you live on other sides of the globe, that translates to:

• 05:00 AM GMT (UTC+0)
• 01:00 PM SGT (UTC+8)

The livestream time differs from the usual, which is about seven hours earlier. However, as usual, you can tune in to the show on either the Genshin Impact official YouTube or Twitch channel.

There was a lot of fear that Columbina would not be playable, considering not all Fatui end up being a playable character (cough cough, Signora and Capitano), but thankfully, she was officially announced in early December.

Other than Columbina, two new characters were also teased: Zibai and Illuga. Both Zibai and Illuga bear the Geo Vision, but from their design, it looks like Zibai will be a 5-star character, whereas Illuga will join the 4-star roster.

Columbina is a prominent figure in the Song of the Welkin Moon storyline, but little is known about the other two, especially Zibai.

Zibai is one of the Eight Adepts in Liyue, but her story goes far beyond being the White Horse Adeptus. She's said to be one of the surviving Angels, and once lived on the moon. Not only did Zibai not get reduced to the Seelie form, but she also possesses an elegant appearance, where her human form bears striking amber eyes and long platinum hair.

As for Illuga, he's one of the members of the Lightkeepers and is the adoptive son of the leader.
