CookieRun: OvenSmash is the first PvP offering in this popular franchise

Have you ever gotten so mad at your friend that you just want to pelt them with biscuits? But then remember that biscuits are delicious, so you don’t want to waste them. It is a situation we have all faced, and one that Devsisters has an answer for. Save your savoury snacks, and challenge them to a game of CookieRun: OvenSmash.

Whilst the existence of CookieRun: New World monopolised our attention during DevNow, there was another we should have paid more attention to: OvenSmash. CookieRun has long been a cutesy PvE series, and yet now, the heat is on as OvenSmash is the franchise's first PvP offering.

Rest assured, the atmosphere hasn't shifted too much. It is still a relaxing game; you won’t be extracting loot or stalking foes waiting to pounce. Instead, OvenBreak will have you assemble a team of cookies to compete in quick three-minute matches across six game modes. You will need to master role-based abilities and the use of in-match Spell Cards to claim victory.

Six fun-filled games to claim the top spot in

You will take part in games such as Castle Crasher, where you will assault your foes' keep with the help of a friendly turtle. Or take part in a musical version of King of the Hill, the children's game, no propane or propane accessories here. Instead, you will duke it out to be the ones holding a stage in the middle of the map.

If you fancy a bit of slave labour, Gnome Battle sends you off to collect Gnomes and have them build you structures to earn points. Forgoing these tiny beings, Jelly Race is a scramble to pick up Jellies and stick them in your opponent's goal. Finally, embrace your inner breadserker with Smash Fight and Wild Royale, a team and solo battle experience, respectively.
