CookieRun: Kingdom kicks off Act 2 with the Timeline of Fate

I feel like we have seen time travel popping up all over the place in media, but has anyone ever done it with baked goods? Well, now they have! CookieRun: Kingdom heralds in its Act 2 with the Timeline of Fate update, and the whole history of cookie-kind is at stake.

After giving Dark Enchantress Cookie what for, the kingdom was at peace. That was until Shadow Milk Cookie stole a fragment of the Ultimate Cookie’s dough - I want to eat that - and the Beast’s Soul Jams. Then, for good measure, they go and escape into the past, shattering the timeline.

Hoping to try and reverse the damage, Timekeeper Cookie steps into the fray, along with Ash Salt Cookie, as new heroes to recruit. It is time to start a new story, with the first Timeline of Fate episode: Ash-Bound Soul. Of course, the whole timeline breaking throws in a few new tricks for battle.

To start with, the Unstable Timeline rule makes your foes stronger, whilst simultaneously slowing down your movement and attacks. Obviously, a massive hassle. So, you will need to master the new tactical skill: Timeline Reconstruction. This flips that narrative, removing enemy advantages, clearing your harmful effects, and even speeding up team abilities.

This won’t be enough, though. The threats have only gotten more delicious... I mean, dangerous. You will need to tap into the latent power of your Legendary cookies, including Timekeeper Cookie, with the new 6-star growth system. It will expand to include existing 6-stars in time, and will offer you a much-needed edge in power.
