It has been a pretty good year for Delta Force, even if they haven’t been screaming about it. Pulling a Platinum inclusion in Steam’s Best of 2025 Most Played is no small feat in a year with Blue Prince, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Team Jade is looking to kick off 2026 with that same level of hype, with a major season update. Morphosis is its name, and it is adding quite a bit of content. For starters, we have a new Operator in the form of Vlinder. She is a Support, and comes equipped with butterfly drones and rescue UAVs to heal her squad and keep them moving.

This healing will be quite vital in the new Warfare map, Aftershock. Nothing is safe here, not even the buildings, as players can engage in some full-scale destruction. Just bear in mind that demolishing a structure is risky business, and you might trigger a seismic event.

However, it does sound like incredibly good fun.

Speaking of new ways to play, there are also two fresh modes to try out. You can try the new Flashpoint mode, where everyone clambers over each other to hunt the same shifting target. Or, harness the power of Saeed and his guards as you take control in the Firey Owl Hunt Operation.

You might also notice in Operations that Space City has been extended. There are extra areas to challenge, and swimming mechanics, although you would be the proverbial sitting duck in the water. Which you definitely don’t want to be when new boss Alonso Hudson, the Efficiency Director, is cutting about.

Finally, TiMi is taking user advice on board as they have implemented some requested improvements. You can now queue solo for Layali Grove, take on Tide Prison on normal mode, customise vehicles, and more.

Download Delta Force from the App Store and Google Play and see why it was one of 2025s most played games.
