God forbid we have tough enemies in gacha games.

In Arknights: Endfield, you play as the Endministrator, the figure who plays a large role in saving humanity, and the one who established the Endfield Industries.

Because of this, a large chunk of Endfield gameplay involves managing a factory to produce certain items.

For example, if you need power, you would be crafting batteries. Needs medicine? Make your own capsules. Even the Gears for your characters will be made using materials from your factory.

However, factory-building isn't the only thing you do in Endfield, as combat is still a big part of the game. This is where the characters (known as Operators) will help you. Each Operator has their own skillset, and you can mix-and-match between them to make the ultimate team comp.

Composing the right team is important, as enemies will get harder as you progress, and if you don't try to upgrade your characters, you'll fall behind and struggle in fights. Well, at least that's before Hypergryph releases a quick patch.

Arknights: Endfield is already nerfing enemies, and players have mixed reactions

Just one week into its release, Endfield already nerfed some enemies in the world, ensuring all players can defeat the hostiles in Talos-II. However, this change receives mixed reactions from the Endmins.

Some are happy since they're struggling to fight, while others are unhappy since they enjoy the harder difficulty.

Here are the changes in the quick patch:

  • Reduce the HP of certain enemies between level 10 and 50
  • Reduce the damage resistance of certain enemies in Wuling
  • Reduce the Attack of the Marble Aggelomoirai Boss while in its awake status

Apart from the nerfs, Endfield also added a button to immediately get rewards from the Simulations tutorial. The Simulations are great if you wish to learn about certain production chains, but if you figured out everything without them, you're no longer forced to sit through the extra-detailed step-by-step tutorial anymore.

Arknights: Endfield is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
