Star Wars: Knights of of the Old Republic - 148Apps Goes Deep

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KotOR) has been released on the App Store. This is the same full game that was released for the XBox in 2003, with the interface modified for the touch screen. Considered by most to be the best Star Wars universe game made, and by some to be the only good Star Wars game made, it’s great to see this classic updated for the iPad.

KoTOR is an RPG/strategy game set about 4,000 years before Episode 1. Originally released 10 years ago by BioWare, Aspyr Media did the Mac OS X and iPad version. Aspyr are the folks that brought us the great Poker Pals and Sushi Mushi.

We’ve got the release fully covered here at 148Apps as we Go Deep on Knights of the Old Republic.

To start off, take a look at the trailer for KotOR from the original 2003 release for a little bit of nostalgia.
