Zenless Zone Zero gets into the true spirit of Christmas with terrifying goatman-themed squad

It is getting close to Christmas, so you would think that developers would start adding Santa-related content. And yet, Zenless Zone Zero has gone the other way, with Version 2.4, On the Precipice of the Abyss, focusing on the Krampus Compliance Authority, named after a mythological goatman who punishes bad children at Christmas.

With the help of the Krampus, the Proxies have saved Timesworn Hill, and have gazed into Yindhari’s dreamscape. It's a bit of a spoiler vision, so let’s just say a surprising character is standing with Sarah, the least threatening antagonist name ever. You will team up with new friends to get to the bottom of this possible betrayal.

Two agents from Krampus are joining to help punish evil-doers, starting with Dialyn. This S-Rank Physical Stun character uses two unique resources brought from her customer service job: Customer Complaint and Positive Review. It's a difficult job. She uses these to stun enemies and summon a teammate to immediately use their Ultimate.

Or, if you are looking to dish out big damage, try out S-Rank Rupture Agent Banyue. He is a martial arts master who alternates between Adrenaline and Wrathful Fires for maximum damage. It’s a balance that will pay off. Also returning in this update are Hugo and Ellen.

For our Bangboo buddies, you can pick between two. Birkblick is the Krampus Bangboo, a sensor array that can transform into a cannon. Those who prefer low tech, however, can pick Bild N. Boolok, a happy chappy with a massive hammer. Speaking of our Bangboo friends, the auto chess event has returned.

It is packing several PvE special stages with exclusive rewards, which include Bild N. Boolok. It reminds me of Tinkaton, and that makes me smile. For more happiness, you can hit the Lightstream Notes events, which feature Ye Shunguang and a few fun little stories.
