Zenless Zone Zero gets into the Halloween spirit next month with the returning Spook Shack
Things are going Bangboo in the night.
The Spook Shack is back in time for Halloween, taking centre stage in Zenless Zone Zero’s upcoming update. Memories of Dreams Bygone will release October 15th, and will see you and the Spooks venture through the Timesworn Hills to investigate the ghost stories that plague the area.
If you look past the abundant and shiny Lumite ore deposits in these hills, you will find abandoned facilities and testing ground ruins, ripe for some spooky stories. It is said miners vanish in the Miasma, hypnotists spirit people away, and a phantom bell tolls for those who enter.
Happily, you won't have to venture here alone, as you can recruit new members of the Spook Shack. Lucia is an S-Rank Ether Support agent who uses her fandom of Ethereals to recreate them in combat. After accumulating enough Dream Points, she will boost all allies' max HP, increase their damage, and trigger Aftershocks by deploying the Ether Veil: Wellspring.

For those who prefer a high-risk, high-reward playstyle, take a look at Yidhari. She is an S-Rank Ice Rupture Agent that deals more damage whilst on lower HP. She gains Sheer Force based on her max HP, and her ice attacks pierce enemy defences with Sheet DMG. She can inflict so massive damage if you have the skills to keep her alive on low health.
Taking a step down to A-Rank, Komano Manato is a Fire Rupture Agent who deals Sheer DMG that scales from his max HP. Kind of underwhelming after Yidhari. Vivian and Ju Fufu will also be available as returning S-rank banners, and if you have Soldier 0 - Anby, you are in luck. She will benefit from some refined mechanics and boosted performance.
After recruiting everyone you want, head over to the Threshold Simulation for a fun challenge. You will deploy multiple squads to deal with interconnected battle scenarios, which sounds pretty cool. Or, tackle the When Dreams Remain Unfished event for some turn-based tactical scenarios. Completing this unlocks Agent Manato, which feels more like a punishment. At least the SNAP! Shining Strike photography event is also back.
Zenless Zone Zero is available from the App Store and Google Play.
