Vampire Crawlers is a card-based spin-off from Vampire Survivors that is nothing like Balatro
Who needs a gun when you have a small piece of cardboard?
Since launching in 2022, it is safe to say that Vampire Survivors has utterly smashed it out of the park. It beat God of War and Elden Ring for the Best Game BAFTA, spawned its own genre of “survivor-likes," and collaborated with the wildly popular Castlevania. poncle are now gambling that lightning can strike twice, as they announce a spin-off; Vampire Crawlers.
Technically, its full name is “Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors," but frankly, that is absolutely rubbish, so we are sticking with just Vampire Crawlers. As you might surmise from that mouthful, it is a turn-based deckbuilder, coming to mobile at some point in 2026.
It is a turbo-turned-based BLOBBER with some rouglike features, and I know what you are thinking: what on earth is a BLOBBER? I’ve never heard it in my life, but it's basically a first-person dungeon crawler, like the old Might and Magic games. Except in this case, you are beating monsters with a deck of cards.

You will be in a dungeon for your adventures, finding treasure and encountering a first in the world of Vampire Survivors; a wall. And when you encounter a foe, battles are bound to be incredibly chaotic for numerous reasons.
The first is obviously the Turbo part of the game's name. You can whack out your moves in a fraction of a second, utterly obliterating your device's graphics chips and RAM in an instant.
The second reason is the sheer carnage you can unleash thanks to the game's combat system. You play your cards in ascending mana order to create combos, which sounds regular enough to begin with.
However, each step multiples the next card’s effect. You can also use Wilds to keep your stack building ad infinitum. If you are really tactical, you could potentially explode the sun itself.
You can check out the Vampire Cralwers website if you wish to stare at an incredibly vague release date, but we will keep you updated with further developments as they come.
