Stumble Guys starts a dinosaur stampede with their Jurassic World collaboration
The Jurassic Park franchise would have us believe that a larger-than-average proportion of the population would stand firm against a rampaging dinosaur. However, Stumble Guys is showing us how we would all actually flail around bouncing off the walls if this happened, thanks to a crossover with Jurassic World.
The collaboration is here to celebrate the release of Jurassic World Rebirth in cinemas. Unfortunately, the trailers for that film look absolutely rubbish, so it is excellent news that we can experience dino-trouble here instead. What's better is that there is a truckload of new Stumblers, and you can be a dinosaur. Can’t do that in the cinema. Not without being removed, anyway.
Folk with bad eyesight will not like the crossover map: Jurassic Rush. It is the first one that is set at night, and that veil of darkness is hiding a treasure trove of dangers. You will run through a jungle strewn with spike traps, angry dinosaurs, and a host of other obstacles ready to trip you up.

You might think all that sounds challenging enough, but it isn't over. Scopely has improved the behaviour of its bots to navigate courses more realistically, instead of going face-first into a wall. Although I suppose that is realistic. Either way, you will now go head-to-head with more competent competition.
Luckily, you can arm yourself with the greatest weapon of all: a giant dinosaur suit. There is a lobby of new Stumblers to try out, including the Mythic D-Re, the Legendary Patriotron, and the best of them all, the Legendary Stranded Banana. There was nothing the dinosaurs feared more than potassium.
You can celebrate your successful run with the Fake Dino celebration, antagonist foes with the Dance of the Jungle Taunt, or tip-toe through the undergrowth with the Lush Jungle footsteps. But most importantly, you will be running with the dinosaurs, and haven’t we all dreamed of that?
Stumble Guys is available to download from the App Store and Google Play. If you want some more dinosaur fun, check out the current Play Together event.
