We are in the year 2026. The legendary Pac-Man is now around 45, relaxing in his armchair, nursing a whisky despite lacking any limbs. Then, he gets the call: MY.GAMES needs him to deal with a ghost infestation. He sighs, mumbles something we can’t repeat about being too old for this stuff, and kicks in the doors of Rush Royale.

Again, despite not having any appendages.

All this to say, Rush Royale is hosting that iconic ball in the Pac-Man: Arcade event. Having said that, isn’t it amazing how something as simple as a yellow circle can be a legend? We are simple folk. Anyway! It is time to step into that most famous of video game mazes.

Can you take on the behemoths that are Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and Clyde?

The gameplay for this event is based on Endless Co-Op, meaning you get a friend for this onslaught. Your goal is simple: survive in the Pac-Man labyrinth as long as you can against hordes of enemies led by those ghostly fiends: Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and Clyde. One player will control Pac-Man himself, and the other will be Duck, Rush Royales' mascot.

Each of these has special abilities, with one being a damage booster and the other a support. Of course, the ghosts will replace the waves' bosses, bringing their own special challenges. Blinky is a tank with high health, Pinky can curse and stun units, Inky reduces incoming damage, and Clyde makes you make “why is your name not on theme!” He is also the main boss with multiple disruptive abilities.

As you play, you will be able to collect Power Pellets and other Pac-Man-themed power-ups, granting you much-needed boons. These included boosted Hero abilities, making Ghosts vulnerable, and setting Pac-Man loose to eat everyone. The more you think about him, the more of an eldritch horror he becomes.
