Yeah, sure, we're a day later than usual with our game of the week award, but that just makes things more exciting. You've no doubt been waiting with baited breath for the contestants to be announced. And that's exactly what we're doing in this here article, so cool your jets.

It's an interesting mix this week. We've got premium, we've got free to play. We've got deep simulation and we've got super-fast reactions. We've got retro, modern, puzzle, and almost everything in between. But it's up to you now which one walks away the victor.

To vote you can just leave us a comment at the bottom of the article. Or tweet us using the hashtag #148GOW, or post on our Facebook page. That's it. That's all you have to do.Pretty darn easy right? Anyway, on with the picks, then on with the votes.

Pocket City - download for iOS

A deep and intriguing premium game of city-building. It's got a few quirks, it's got a few problems, but it's the closest to a real Sim City game we've had on the App Store for a good long while. It looks great, and you can play it in portrait mode too, what more do you want really?

Math and Sorcery - download for iOS

Math is boring, right? Wrong. Well, it is, but when you mix it up into an RPG, throw in some spells, and a sprinkling of risk taking, then you're onto something special. And that's precisely what Math and Sorcery does. Solve sums, kill monsters, and try and become the best mathemawizard in the whole of the universe.

One More Button- download for iOS

A puzzle game where the buttons aren't fixed in one place on the screen. Instead they're spread out. They do the same things, but you need to find them and, more often than not, push them out of the way of the star of the piece. Essentially it's a block-slider with more than a few twists in its tail, and it's well worth checking out.

Juanito Arcade Mayhem - download for iOS

A love letter to the heyday of the arcades, this one sees you working your way through a series of non-copyright-infringing cabinets in order to clear the clonocells that have taken them over. Imagine if Wreck-it-Ralph was a scrawny boy in pyjamas and his jokes were good, then throw in some Rainbow Islands. Bosh, that's Juanito Arcade Mayhem.

DueLito - download for iOS

What happens when you mix a one on one gunfight with a rhythm game and a reaction tester? Honestly, I have no idea, but DueLito is probably something like the outcome. Tap buttons in the right order, and if you're the first to do it you're going to kill your opponent. It's simple, but winning is anything but.
