The winner of this week's game of the week award is Rowdy Wrestling

We've run the numbers. We've run the numbers again, and we've run the numbers one final time, and we can now reveal which of these five games has won our highly coveted game of the week award. It's Rowdy Wrestling. Sorry, we don't do fanfare around these parts.

The game is a brilliant arcade blast of crunching nonsense that sees you duking it out against burly men in order to be crowned the champion. And sure, that might sound like it's been done before, but trust us when we say that there's a lot more going on here than that.

For starters there's all the silliness. You've got minimal controls, and your real strength here comes from the physics engine. After all, it's that you're going to be using to hurl your foes over the top ropes and claim victory.

And yeah, that might sound a good deal like Wrasslin', Colin Lane's other take on the world of sweaty men rubbing against each other, but there's more here too. Like the fact you can do flying kicks off the top ropes. And the way that some wrestlers are stronger in different areas than others.
