Square Enix gives with one hand and slaps fans in the face with the other in a hotpot of announcments

We have something of a mixed bag coming over from Square Enix HQ today. Two of their mobile games are revelling in life with new events keeping them alive, whilst another has been thrown onto the ever-growing discard pile Square is building. I have honestly lost count at this point.
Let’s start on the happier side of things. War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is keeping the Final Fantasy V Reissue ongoing, with the release of an extra unit. The Fated King, Hero King Mont, enters the fray, along with the When Lions Soar Vision Card. Also, don’t forget to grab your free Bartz before March 4th.

Stepping over to Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, we have the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth crossover going on with the Loveless event. Because if you have Square's back catalogue, you’d collaborate with yourself relentlessly as well. Until February 26th, you can grab Aerith’s Loveless Songstress Gear, Yuffie’s Wutai’s Idol Gear and Barett’s Dragon King Varvados Gear. These can be collected from Draw Stamps.
Moving away from the stage, Zack is back in the continuation of the Crisis Core storyline, one of the best games released on the PSP. Until March 6th, you can tackle the campaign missions to unlock Zack-Specific Weapon Parts, and Zack 5-star Weapon Guaranteed Draw Ticket. There is also a login bonus consisting of Weapon draw Tickets, Blue Crystals, and more.

Now onto the bad news! Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles has been closed for iOS customers. Back in January, players started to report that they couldn't access the full version after paying for it. After investigation, Square discovered this was due to a bug, and instead of putting in the effort to fix it, they have chosen to just close it instead. You can contact Apple Support requesting refunds for certain content before August 31st, so that's something, I suppose.
You can hit the stage in Ever Crisis on Apple and Android devices, or you can relive the glory of Final Fantasy 5 by downloading War of the Visions from the Apple Store and Google Play.
