My Talking Angela 2 gets over 300 million downloads

Game developer Outfit7 is celebrating the first anniversary of its new game My Talking Angela 2 as the mobile app tops 300 downloads.

The celebration involves a special release of a brand new original song and music video from the game’s superstar character, Talking Angela. The music video ‘Shine Together’ debuted on YouTube on July 8th and has made an incredible debut, surpassing 10 million views globally in such a short time.

The song is a celebration of love and friendship with its 3D animation encouraging players to sing and dance to the catchy beat. The song is also available on Spotify and Apple Music.

In a press release, Head of R&D and VP of Design and Animation at Outfit7, Helder Lopes, said: “It’s been amazing to see people all around the world playing My Talking Angela 2, watching Angela’s music video on YouTube, listening to the song on Spotify, dancing with her on TikTok, and more.”

“We’ve been getting so much excitement and fan-made videos from the fans since the launch, so we wanted to do something special for them on the game’s first anniversary with the song, music video, and game update – but it’s the fans themselves who’ve made the events of this summer really extraordinary!”

The new update to My Talking Angela 2 presents fans with a new talent show and jewelry-making features. The update, now available on all platforms, will also allow players to collect big rewards when they help in Angela’s performance in front of other pet judges.

Released in July 2021, My Talking Angela 2 is a part of Outfit7’s famous game universe based on the Talking Tom and Friends series. It topped global charts and also in the US and Russian iPhone markets. Additionally, it entered the Top 10 Games charts on Google Play and the App Store in more than 70 and 100 countries, respectively.
