Neverness to Everness shows off upcoming collabs and improvements in livestream
I do worry NTE is trying to do too much that it will collapse in on itself
The build-up to Neverness to Everness has been a very, very long one. We have covered it many times here ourselves, musing over all the mechanics that Perfect World Games are promising. And now we are getting even more hype, with two big collabs coming out of Saturday’s livestream.
NTE has not been released yet; that is coming on April 29th. However, it is already flirting with disaster. It is said that any mobile game that collaborates with Persona 5 folds in a years time. Having said that, NTE picked the best bit of Persona 5 to take: the tunes.
The music in the Persona series, specifically 3 onwards, is impeccable. And players will be able to bop to these catchy beats through NTE's car radio and Walkman feature. And speaking of cars, Porsche is delivering a 918 Spyder for players' in-game use. Not the best car brand, but the 918 Spyder is a beauty to look at.

From combat to mini-games, you won't be bored
Watchers of the live stream, or the VOD now, were treated to some footage featuring two of the game's recruits at launch. Nanally is perfect for those who think weapons are overrated and want to kick foes in the face. And her gravity-defying abilities may help with exploring, too. Or, mess around with the fabric of time with Hotori to leave your foes as sitting ducks.Find your favorite, and get closer to them with the Enhanced Bond System, or just throw them at enemies.
Besides combat, there looks to be a ton to do. You can unlock exclusive skins with fishing, play some Mahjong with bots or friends if you can understand the rules, or take on Pinik Paws Heist with your crafty crew. If crime is a possibility, gamers will take it.
Finally, the livestream also showcased some technical enhancements. Full-scale ray tracing will lead to a prettier time, with the team’s relentless optimisations ensuring you can enjoy the views with minimal interruptions. Neverness to Everness certainly looks ambitious, and come April 29th, we will see if it lives up to these goals. Pre-register from the App Store and Google Play so you don’t miss out.
