Monopoly GO! Is a place where you can return to the classic childhood game, Monopoly, but this time, it's available to bring anywhere via your mobile, and doesn't need you to open five hours in your schedule to play a session.

Although one can argue that they take the essence that makes one full round exciting, Monopoly GO! Undoubtedly succeeds in allowing anyone to play anywhere. Not only that, but they also work around your FOMO with daily activities, constant events, change of seasons, and collaboration partners.

Monopoly GO! Have been taking big names into the game, starting with the Marvel franchise (including Fantastic Four), Star Wars, and even Harry Potter. It seems like there's no limit to what kind of franchise they're collaborating with, as this time, Hello Kitty is making their way into the game.

Meet Sanrio characters in the upcoming Monopoly GO! x Hello Kitty and Friends Collab

Hello Kitty won't be the only one present in the collab. Other well-known characters like Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Keroppi, Pompompurin, Pochacco, and Kuromi will be there too. This makes it a "Hello Kitty and Friends" collab.

You'll get to play the following mini-games during the event:

  • Partners: Collaborate with friends to build attractions on the board. This time, following Hello Kitty-themed attractions.
  • Treasures (Dig): Dig for hidden treasures in various levels.
  • Racers: Another team-based mini-game where you roll the dice to race to the finish line.

Of course, each one is decorated with the classic icons.

And what's an event without rewards? You can collect things like Hello Kitty and Friends sticker sets, themed in-game tokens, shields, dice, and emojis.

However, unlike the usual collab that lasts for multiple weeks, Monopoly GO! x Hello Kitty and Friends will last less than three weeks, from March 10, 2026, until March 29, 2026. The crossover is also part of the Pets Season, which makes sense considering these Sanrio characters fit the animal themes.
