Honkai: Star Rail takes us back to Penacony with the return of a fan-favourite character
I'm rethinking my team
If there is one thing you can count on with Honkai: Star Rail, it's that once you’ve visited a new place, you’re going to be spending a long time re-treading an old one. Such is the case in Version 3.8, Memories are the Prelude to Dreams, as Amphoreus wraps up, and we head back to Penacony. Yet again.
After the Trailblazer puts that whole Amphoreus business to bed, he is suddenly accosted by Constance “The Dahlia”, informing them that their memories are incomplete. To piece these together, you head back to Penacony, and spend some time with an old friend, Firefly.
You will experience the story through her perspective, reliving how she arrived in the dreamscape, meeting the Trailblazer, and all the battles she faced. As you continue down this road, you will also encounter someone from her past as a Glamoth Iron Cavalry Knight, as well as shed more light on the Dream of Gnawing Oak.

Joining us in this journey is The Dahlia, as a 5-star Path of Nihility player. She deploys a Zone that causes Toughness Reduction inflicted by all allies to possibly trigger Super Break DMG even before the enemy is Weakness Broken. She can also designate an ally as a Dance Partner, inflicting an extra instance of Super Break DMG when both characters attack the same enemy. Finally, her ultimate applies every Dance Partner’s Type Weakness to all enemies. I may have to recruit her for my Break team, maybe instead of Fugue.
Away from dreamwalking, you will also be able to take part in The Chrysos Awoo Championship, and I spellchecked that three times. You will train a team of chimeras in the hunt for championship glory. There is also Remnants of Twilight, a series of tough battles to test your skills.
Honkai Star Rail is available from the App Store and Google Play.
