Hitman: World of Assassination launches newest Elusive Target with Milla Jovovich at the helm

I enjoyed the Patient Zero storyline, so this continuation is a real treat

Hitman: World of Assassination launches newest Elusive Target with Milla Jovovich at the helm

If you watched the horrors that were the Resident Evil films and wanted revenge for the desecration of an iconic series, then Hitman: World of Assassination is here to help. Star of the zombie flicks Milla Jovovich has joined the game as an Elusive Target, and is squarely in the sights of Agent 47.

Named The Harbinger, you can enjoy this for free up until March 24th, and it appears we have snapped back to reality after the crazy Slim Shady mission. Agent 37 is tasked to eliminate Jovovichs’ Lilith Deverux, prospective CEO of Ether Corporation. Her rise to prominence left a few of her predecessors dead in her wake, and it appears the proverbial chickens have come home to roost.

Or perhaps, the explosive rubber ducks.

Somewhat fittingly given Jovovichs’ previous works, this is part of Hitman's virus-strewn sub-plot, subtitled “Patient Zero Requiem.” You can also pick up this eponymous DLC Pack for $4.99. Yes, I usually avoid speaking about store packs, but I adore WOA, so by all means, give IOI your money.

This gets you permanent access to The Contagion, the 2-level Arcade contract based on this story. You will also pick up the likes of The Breach Response Gear, The Bartoli 75S "Lucky Knight," and the Manypass. No doubt a nod to one of Jovovichs’ most beloved roles in The Fifth Element.

We also have a peek at 2026s’ roadmap, and it looks pretty good. Spring brings back Bruce Lee and LeChiffres Elusive Targets, whilst Summer will repeat The Drop, and Slim Shadys. Rather soon, but sure. Fall will see Sean Bean return in The Undying, staying true to his name. Finally, each of the seasons is also hiding one unidentified target, so look forward to those. I certainly am.

Hitman: World of Assassination is available to download from the App Store. The game has also released on Mac, which we don’t cover, but I bring that up so I can say this: Macs suck.
