Hitman World of Assassination announces next Elusive Target whilst Slim Shady still roams free

I am dating myself here, but do you remember back in 2009 when Kanye West stormed the VMA stage and interrupted Taylor Swift's award speech? Well, I think IO Interactive did that to themselves at The Game Awards. The Eminem Elusive Target is still going strong in Hitman World of Assassination, and yet, there was a grand reveal of an upcoming celebrity appearance. 

To be fair, I understand it: IO didn’t want to waste the spotlight at the Awards, but come on. Can you imagine Eminem starting a set, then one of his stage techs suddenly snaps his neck, and it is revealed to be Agent 47 in disguise? Would that it were.

Anyway, let's snap back to reality.

What actually occurred was IO Interactive introduced onto the stage Milla Jovovich, star of the so-so Resident Evil movies and the pretty good Fifth Element. She will play the role of Lilith Devereux, CEO of Ether Corporation, and the newest target of Agent 47. So if you have stocks in Ether, drop them now cause they are going to dive. 

With the backing of Gregory Carlisle, Lilith went from a relative nobody to a prominent figure of the high and mighty, and might have made a skeleton or two along the way. Her predecessor Neleis De Waal, along with scientists Silvio Caruso and Francesca De Santis, mysteriously died on Lilith's rise to power, a coincidence too good to be true. Also, she is named Lilith. Have you watched Supernatural, or Frasier, or played Diablo 4? You can’t trust a Lilith!

A big bright spot here is that the mission will take place in the Carlisle Estate, which uses the Dartmoor map. This is a personal favourite of mine, and I can’t wait to return here when this Elusive Target releases in February 2026.
